My journey in skincare has taken me from the ancient landscapes of Egypt and full circle back her to beautiful New Zealand. In the heart of Egypt, where pharaohs once ruled, I discovered the mystical energy of the pyramids. My journey took me to the Giza plateau, where I harnessed the essence and energy of The Great Pyramid of Egypt. This marked the inception of ROYAL serum. Returning to New Zealand, I integrated the energised properties of the pyramids into creating a serum that embodies ancient wisdom and spiritual energies. Departure & Arrival
In 2017, I made the decision to leave my home in New Zealand and head to Egypt. I was based in Alexandria, a vibrant Mediterranean coastal city known for its rich history, cultural diversity snd housing the famous "Great library of Alexandria". This experience would become one of the most exhilarating, exciting and rewarding experience of my life. I had the best of both worlds, I was exploring Egypt as a national and as a tourist. I travelled extensively, I immersed myself into everyday living and in the beautiful Egyptian culture. Unbeknownst to me, this marked the beginning of a seven year spiritual awakening and a life long love affair with Egypt. The moment my feet touched Egyptian soil, I felt an instant connection, a gravitational pull of sorts, a familiar knowing. I didn't have this epiphany whilst walking through grand temples or sailing the Nile (which I did by the way) it was something deeper. I felt renewed, soothed, and restored, like coming home to a place I'd never seen before. A familiar energy surrounded me, a presence whispered "you're meant to be here", in that moment, I knew my life would change forever and Egypt would always be a part of me
Roshdi discovery
One day, while taking a walk, I felt an intuitive pull towards a suburb called Roshdi. It's here that I discovered Deeb mall, a shopping haven full of surprises. One particular shop that stood out from the rest, it was to my surprise, a beautiful crystal shop. I noticed the shop owner seated at a table, crafting bespoke handmade copper pyramids made from Egyptian copper.In that moment I knew I had to have one of those pyramids!, I didn't know why? I didn't know what I was going to do with it, I couldn't understand why my body was reacting in such a crazy way towards this pyramid! I was like a moth to a flame! literally hovering around this pyramid. I was not leaving the shop without one. I asked the owner if I could buy one and he happily agreed, but with one condition, come back tomorrow he said!I did go back the next day and the owner had a pyramid waiting for me. I held it close and felt an instant connection, what happened next was unbelievable. I received a telepathic message, I was to take the pyramid to Giza, to Pharaoh Khufu's chamber within The Great Pyramid of Giza. The message was clear, powerful and unmistakable. In that moment, I chose to trust the universe! I decided to set off on a journey to Giza with my Egyptian copper pyramid in hand
Journey to Giza
With the pyramids message guiding me, I set off on a life changing journey to Giza. I opened myself to the energies of the universe, deepening my intuitive insights and amplifying my connection to the spiritual realm and my higher self. By train, I arrived at Ramses Station in Cairo where the stunning Grand Entrance welcomed me. Being in Cairo felt like a dream come true, it was a pinch me moment , just being in the train station I could feel the magic of the city surrounding me. At my hotel, a surprise awaited, the pyramids stood proudly in the distance visible as I opened the drapes. It was a stunning sight that took my breathe away and heightened my excitement for the adventure that awaited me the next morning. The next morning, with my Egyptian copper pyramid in hand I made my way to the Giza plateau, I had received a clear message that I needed to take it there but I still had no idea why. With no additional information, messages or guidance, I was simply going with the flow and trusting the process. As I arrived at the pyramids, I felt a deep sense of alignment in my mind, body ad spirit for the first time in a long time. Although I wasn't entirely sure what I needed to do at that point, I took my time exploring, looking around and tuning into my surroundings. It was as if time itself stood still, allowing me to ground myself in the experience.
Sacred solitude
After exploring for a while, I knew it was time to enter Khufu's pyramid, just as I had been instructed to do in Alexandria. Standing at the entrance, I wondered, who had walked through this doorway and hallways before me thousands of years ago. The ascent to Khufu's chamber involved navigating steep, narrow passageways that required me too hunch over before opening up allowing me to stand upright and walk more comfortably. Seven years ago, it felt as if the universe conspired for me to experience this place alone. The absence of crowds allowed me to connect deeply with the history and sacredness of the space. Once inside the inner chamber, I found myself alone and undisturbed for over an hour. It was in that moment that clarity flooded my mind, I knew exactly why I was there, I knew exactly what I had to do. Every fibre of my being resonated with what was to unfold. It was instinctive, automatic, innate, visceral, it was preordained. I was moments away from connecting to ancient energies in a powerful infusion ritual
Infusion ritual
Within Khufu's sacred chamber, I positioned my pyramid on the floor, against the walls and atop Khufu's tomb to absorb and tap into cosmic energies, ley lines, kundalini, time space frequencies, huge amounts of healing, vibrational and spiritual energies, light codes, temple codes, sacred geometry and transcendental energies. I meditated, holding my pyramid, attuning to ancient wisdom. I tapped into energies that echoed through time. The resonance of the stars, the magnetic pull of the earth, and the spiritual soul blue print of those who had come before me. In this ancient DNA rich space, my pyramid became a vessel for the pyramids essence. I realised that every step had been divine guided. This had been a journey of trust and surrender. Each encounter, each decision, the universe was orchestrating my path, fulfilling a higher purpose. All of a sudden, it was time to stop and I began my descent, leaving the inner chamber. I had received a clear vision, a sacred oil blend needed to be created. I started to journal allowing for the blend to naturally unfold and reveal itself.
